We open the season with Maine Maple Sunday, always the fourth Sunday in March... Free samples of Maple Syrup on Ice Cream, plus Farm Tours, Hay Rides (weather permitting), Demonstrations and Face Painting.
SHEARING THE ALPACAS
Coming up in May (please watch for posting of exact date). The public is invited to watch the shearing process and handling of the fleece. Whole fleece will be on sale.
MAINE OPEN FARM DAY Always the third or fourth
Sunday in July. Meet the alpacas (should be some new babies by then),
and enjoy a hay ride, spinning and other demonstrations. Also face
painting and refreshments.
ALPACA OPEN FARM DAY Usually the last Sunday in September. This event is sponsored by the National Alpaca Association (AOBA). Find out if the alpaca lifestyle is right for you! Tour the farm and observe some of the day to day aspects of caring for these wonderful animals. Free handouts, demonstrations and refreshments.
